Leading a company is still both a passion and a daily challenge for me. In a world that is becoming more complex and fast-paced, the demands on my role continue to grow. At the same time, I know how important it is to make space for my family. Three of my four children are already adults, yet the time we spend together is just as valuable as ever.
Flexibility is the key to making this work. I work remotely and organize my schedule in a way that allows responsibility for the business and family life to fit together. That includes taking mindful breaks during the day. Sometimes I go for a run with my daughter, who now works at ENTIRETEC herself. On other days a short walk helps me reset. These moments give me energy, spark ideas and often open up new perspectives.
Our projects ask a lot from everyone on the team. They require commitment, passion and integrity. That is why it is important to us that our employees’ families understand and support the work they do. Open communication and appreciation are deeply rooted in our culture. You can see this in our Wednesday cooking sessions, in shared sports activities and in our long-standing tradition of sending a small Christmas surprise to the ENTIRETEC children. The letters and drawings we sometimes receive in return mean a great deal to me.
As a company, we want to give our employees the freedom they need in every stage of life. This applies to parents with young children as much as to colleagues with teenagers or adult family members. For us, work-life balance is not a slogan. It is something we live every day.
