Following a recent hardware update, ENTIRETEC found itself with seven notebooks no longer in active use. Rather than leaving them untouched or sending them straight for disposal, the team saw an opportunity: the devices were still in good working condition and could serve a meaningful purpose elsewhere. Our colleagues Tina Peisker, Anja Gambietz and Marcel Winkler delivered the notebooks in person to Stoffwechsel e.V. in Dresden, where Elisa Dittmann and Esther Wappler welcomed them and explained how the equipment will help out across the organization’s various locations throughout the city.
A Look Behind the Scenes
Stoffwechsel e.V. has spent many years supporting children, young people, and families across Dresden, offering local programs that build community, provide guidance, and open up new opportunities. The donated notebooks will now support staff and volunteers with day-to-day organizational tasks, event planning, and the administrative work that keeps their programs running smoothly. Beyond the handover itself, the visit gave the ENTIRETEC team a closer look at the people and effort behind stoffwechsel’s work – a reminder that even a small contribution can support something much larger.
